Michael Chang, Director

Kyong-Su Im, Director
Mr. Im is an attorney with, and one of the owners of, Paul, Johnson Park & Niles, a Law Corporation, which has offices in Honolulu and Maui, Hawaii. He graduated from New York University School of Law in 1988 where he was an editor of a law review and practiced in New York and Hawaii, concentrating in complex transactions including real estate development, acquisition, financing, land use, zoning, environmental law, condominium law, and construction law. He has extensive experience as the lead attorney in large transactions involving purchase, sale and management of resorts, office buildings, shopping centers, golf courses, condominium projects, subdivisions and industrial properties. He has also represented many clients with environmental issues and commercial leases. He served as the President of Hawaii Korean Chamber of Commerce from 1994 to 1996 and as a member of the Land Use Commission of the State of Hawaii from 2003 to 2007. Mr. Im is fluent in Korean and English.

Jun Kang, Director
Mr. Kang currently serves as the President of Beach Walk Investment Group, a company that provides investment advice for potential investment from Korea and Japan. He also manages the Hawaiiana Hotel in Waikiki. Mr. Kang is also fluent in Korean, Japanese, and English. He is also a member of the Advisory Council for Democratic and Peaceful Unification, a group designed to help develop policies that will lay the groundwork towards a peaceful, democratic unification of the North and South Korea.

Eric Kim, Director
Mr. Kim currently serves as Vice President of Business Development for Tower Engineering Hawaii, Ltd, where he conducts corporate lobbying and marketing for all aspects of this Architectural & Engineering design firm including Third Party Review, CM & Life Safety services. Previous experiences include consultant to the property development firm, Sterling Management Company in Maui and stock broker for Merrill Lynch in California. In federal work, Mr. Kim was a Supervisor/Inspector for the U.S. Postal Service where he was instrumental in streamlining mail delivery systems and operations to help relieve a $2 billion deficit. Mr. Kim retired as a U.S. Air Force Major where he was a T-38 & F-4/Phantom pilot and later Chief of Intelligence Operations in the United States, Far East and Europe.

Rex K.C. Kim, Director
Mr. Kim is an attorney in private practice who has been licensed to practice law in the State of Hawaii and the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals since 1989. He is a director of Ohana Pacific Bank in Honolulu, Hawaii, and the managing director of AMKOR A&E, Inc., which has offices in Honolulu, Hawaii and Seoul, Korea. Mr. Kim has been appointed to serve on the State of Hawaii Commemorative Quarter Advisory Commission, and helps to lead such community organizations as The Korean American Foundation Hawaii, the Korean American Coalition Hawaii, the Centennial Committee of Korean Immigration to the United States of America, the Korean American Bar Association Hawaii, and the Hawaii State Jaycees.

Yoonjung Lee Kim, Director
Yoonjung Lee Kim is a Sales Manager at the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki and Maui Prince Hotel in charge of Sales and Marketing for international VIPs and tourists from Korea and China. Out of her 15 years of travel industry career, she has been with major hotels in Hawaii for 11 years. A graduate from Ewha Woman's University in Korea, she is a 1st generation Korean who lived in Honolulu for 13 years. Other than her involvement with HKCC since 2001, she is a current board member of Korean American Foundation Hawaii.

Eddie Lee, Director
Mr. Lee is a UH graduate and Founder & CEO of an Information Technology company in Silicon Valley. He is currently retired and resides in Honolulu. Mr. Lee’s hobbies are collecting ancient swords, studying history and playing golf.
