The annual Korean Festival is one of the premier cultural events in Hawaii, bringing together a broad array of local businesses, community groups, and individual volunteers from the Korean community in a joint celebration of their unique heritage.

The Korean Festival attracts wide participation from the local community, giving people of diverse backgrounds and ethnicities a small taste of Korean culture.

A Korean Festival executive committee from HKCC is working together with a core group of volunteers, composed of more than 30 leaders of various organizations in the Korean community including the Korean Visitors Association, Korean Marine Corps Veterans Association, Korean American Society of Hawaii, Korean Sports Association, KA Women's Club, University of Hawaii Korean Graduate Student Association, Honolulu Korean Junior Chamber of Commerce, Korean Jaycees, and more. Collectively, the committee has access to more than 1,000 volunteers to ensure the festival's success.

Additionally, HKCC is partnering with the Korean American Foundation, Korean Drama Club and Hawaii Tourism Authority, Korea to secure a popular Korean movie and pop stars to perform at the festival. The organization expects the performance to attract a large crowd.
